Residence Hall Students

The following immunizations are required prior to move-in day. Please refer to the Step-by-Step Instructions for Uploading Immunization Information into the portal in order to meet each requirement.

MMR vaccine (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – two doses given after your first birthday. These are both usually given by age five. This can also be met by proof of two measles immunizations, one mumps immunization and one rubella immunization.

or

Proof of immunity via blood titer tests (done at any time) for Measles, Mumps and Rubella.

Meningococcal Requirement- NYS requires all college students, 不论年龄大小, to review information about meningitis and then make an informed decision- either show proof of:

  1. Meningitis ACWY vaccine within the last five (5) years (may appear on your records as Menactra, Menveo or MenQuadfi).

    or

  2. Meningitis B, two dose series at any time (may appear on your records as Bexsero or Trumenba). Please look carefully at your vaccination record. The most common reason students remain in "non-compliance" after submitting records is because their meningitis ACWY vaccine is over five years old or they only have had one meningitis B vaccine.

    or

  3. Complete a response form declining the Meningitis vaccination. Declining it ensures compliance with NYS Public 健康 Law and will help you meet the requirement quickly but doesn't stop you from getting it at a later date, 如果需要. There is no penalty for declining these immunizations. Students may receive the vaccine at any time in the future through their healthcare provider, the Monroe County Department of 健康 Immunization clinic or at a local pharmacy.

To decline the meningitis immunization, visit the MCC's Counseling, 残疾 & 卫生服务 Portal:

  • Go to the Medical Clearances tab
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page
  • Click clearance exemptions and select Meningococcal ACWY or B
  • Complete the waiver and upload document into the portal

If you have any trouble with the form, you can also submit proof by:

  • Dropping off records or completing the form in person in the Counseling/残疾 Office in Building 3- Room 103 on the 布莱顿大学.
  • Fax records to (585) 292-3856. 

Proof of 健康 Insurance

Students are required to submit proof of current health insurance in MCC's Counseling, 残疾 & 卫生服务 Portal. All on-campus residents are required to submit proof of current health insurance in MCC's Counseling, 残疾 & 卫生服务 Portal.

Please follow these steps to successfully complete the form:

  • Log into your MyMCC account at qycbhe.selenaumbrella.net/current-students using your MCC email and password, then follow pathway: click on  Campus resources,  click on 健康 and Wellness click on Counseling , 残疾 & 卫生服务 Portal to  enter portal.
  • Then log into the health portal, qycbhe.selenaumbrella.net/depts/stuhealth/student-health-services-portal/ and click on the “Medical Clearances” tab located on the left hand side of the screen.
  • There will be a list of items needed for clearance in the middle of the page.
  • Click on the green "Update" button next to “Proof of 健康 Insurance” and enter your insurance information. The date field should be the submission date, not your date of birth.
  • You do NOT need to submit a picture of your card.
  • Once all fields are complete, click "Submit Final".
  • Your status for the Proof of 健康 Insurance should now say "Compliant" in green.
